This mezcalero also makes some of the El Jologorio mezcals that use wild agave, and this is his farm-grown agave Espadin. At 49% this mezcal is strong, but the alcohol does not overpower it. It has some unique flavor notes not found in other mezcals made from agave Espadin. Pedro Vasquez makes some of the rarest and most highly prized mezcal. This is the first Espadin-based mezcal that he has produced.
