NETA Espadín Capón Agave Spirit (750ml / 47.8%)

NETA Espadín Capón Agave Spirit is batch ESPCAN1505, distilled in May 2015 by Cándido García Cruz in Logoche, Miahuatlán. The flowering stalks of the mature Espadín were cut before harvest, allowing the plants to remain in the field as capón and concentrate their stored sugars.

Cándido and his family harvested 16 large Espadín piñas from the rocky, red-earth La Mina parcel. The finished 200-litre batch was composed from heads, hearts and a high-proof cut of tails, with 150 bottles allocated to Australia through Mextrade.
